Outbound & Transport Team Leader

Are you an experienced logistics professional with leadership skills and a passion for optimizing processes? Then we are looking for you! For our Operations department, we are seeking an Outbound & Transport Team Leader who will be responsible for the daily management of the outbound process in our warehouse and the (internal and external) transport to our customers.

What will you do?

As the Outbound & Transport Lead, you are the key link between Sales, Warehouse, and Transport. You ensure that outgoing goods are processed and delivered on time, efficiently, and accurately. You directly manage the transport planner and delivery drivers (15 FTE) and oversee the quality, safety, and progress of the outbound and transport process. You will be based at our location in Rosmalen. In 2026, the department will move to a brand-new facility in Oss. 

Your responsibilities: 

  • Coordinating the outbound process and transport planning;
  • Monitoring delivery reliability and loading procedures;
  • Motivating and encouraging employees, and handling all related HR tasks; 
  • Monitoring external carriers and conducting performance reviews;
  • Reporting on and analyzing delivery performance, damages, and improvement initiatives;
  • Initiating process improvements and cost savings;
  • (Co-)responsible for the fleet of our delivery vans;
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining order in the warehouse and vehicles;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Logistics, and Purchasing.

We are looking for someone with:

  • MBO+ or HBO level of education and thinking, preferably in logistics/transport;

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, of which 3 years in a leadership role;

  • Proven experience with WMS (SAP is a plus);

  • Knowledge of warehouse processes, quality systems, and transport;

  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (French/German/Polish is a plus);

  • Strong problem-solving skills;

  • Resilient to stress, empathetic, and strong in planning & organizing.
