Shift Leader

Are you a born leader with experience in logistics processes and a passion for leading teams? Then we are looking for you! Within our warehouse, we are looking for a Shift Leader who can make a real difference on the work floor. 


What will you do?

As a Shift Leader, you are responsible for the daily supervision of a team of warehouse employees during your shift. You ensure that the flow of goods runs efficiently, safely, and according to schedule. You are the first point of contact on the floor and play a key role in achieving our logistical objectives. You will work in a 2-shift system at our location in Rosmalen and will move to a brand-new warehouse in Oss in 2026.

 

Your main tasks include:

  • Leading 10–20 warehouse employees (basic, all-round, senior, and assistant shift leader);
  • (Co-)assigning tasks, providing work instructions, and monitoring progress;
  • Monitoring performance and initiating improvement actions;
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining order in the warehouse;
  • Onboarding, coaching, and guiding employees;
  • Planning personnel per shift and communicating special circumstances;
  • Reporting and analyzing results and identifying bottlenecks;
  • Initiating improvement actions.

We are looking for someone:

  • MBO-level education and thinking, preferably in logistics;
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in a commercial warehouse/DC, 3PL, or shipper;
  • Knowledge of WMS (SAP is a plus);
  • Strong teamwork skills and a solution-oriented mindset;
  • Good command of Dutch and English (an additional language is a plus);
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system;
  • Strong communication and coaching skills.
