Assistant Shift Leader

What will you do?
As an Assistant Shift Leader, you support the Shift Leader in the daily supervision of our warehouse team. In the absence of the Shift Leader, you take charge and serve as the first point of contact on the work floor. You ensure that the flow of goods runs efficiently, safely, and according to schedule. You will work in a 2-shift system at our location in Rosmalen and will move to a brand-new warehouse in Oss in 2026.
Your responsibilities:
- Assigning tasks, providing work instructions, and monitoring progress;
- Checking work results and making adjustments where necessary;
- Coordinating with other departments on planning and improvement points;
- Onboarding and training new employees;
- Monitoring performance and initiating improvement actions;
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations;
- Identifying bottlenecks and contributing to continuous improvement;
- Leading the team in the absence of the Shift Leader.

We are looking for someone:
- MBO-level education in logistics or demonstrable work experience at this level;
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in a warehouse or DC;
- Knowledge of WMS (SAP is a plus);
- Good command of Dutch and English (an additional language is a plus);
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system;
- Strong teamwork skills, solution-oriented mindset, and a hands-on attitude.
