We are looking for a Head of Accounting for Exertis Benelux in Rosmalen.

Job Description

As the Head of Accounting, you will report to the Finance Director. Your responsibilities are divided between leading the team (4.5 FTE), further developing the administrative organization, and independently performing several tasks. You have a hands-on mentality and a solution-oriented approach.

Your tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Effective and efficient processing of the financial administration and reporting;
Positive and motivating leadership of the team (4.5 FTE);
Ensuring the optimization of the department's structure and streamlining of processes;
Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all accounting transactions;
Setting clear and measurable goals;
Monitoring performance and conducting regular performance reviews;
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement;
Acting as a Business Partner for the business and building strong collaborative relationships with other departments.

We are looking for someone with:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent, in finance/accounting;
At least 5-10 years of leadership experience in a financial department;
A keen eye for the quality of processes and the identification of process improvements;
Knowledge of SAP is required;
You can communicate clearly and effectively, listen actively, and adjust your message to your audience;
You know how to manage a team effectively, motivate employees, and ensure successful collaboration;
Good command of both Dutch and English.
