Exertis Amacom (formerly Amacom, The Amazing Company) was founded in 1999 from a dream of the Engels family; providing customers with all major (A-)brand consumer electronics and white and brown goods. It started in 1999 with the very first package from the Engels family home in Schijndel. Since then, Exertis Amacom has grown into an international player and proudly part of the DCC Group.
During our 20th anniversary Amacom has joined forces with Exertis, a leading UK distributor in consumer electronics, business communications, audio-visual tools and network facilities. By joining forces, Amacom and Exertis (trade partner of the Technology division within DCC) are better able to achieve further growth in the European market. The international connection with Exertis is therefore the desired step for Amacom to remain at the forefront of developments in the market.

On Tuesday 1 April, the name Amacom, The Amazing Company was changed to Exertis Amacom. Exertis Amacom is part of the country organisation Exertis Benelux B.V.
