NovoDS New Features and Improved Functionalities are Available with Software and Firmware Upgrade V2.3

NovoDS is a very affordable and easy-to-manage digital signage solution which is ideal for creating dynamic visual displays for a corporate or public area. The digital signage content can incorporate text, photos, audio, video, and web content in fully customizable configurations for a variety of settings.

To enhance the user experience Vivitek released software and firmware upgrade to V2.3 with new features and improved functionalities.

To upgrade NovoDS firmware, please connect the device to internet. Then click “Settings”, “Firmware Upgrade” to do the firmware online upgrade.

New 2-Layer Playlist Design

Newly added feature supports 2-layer design. The background layer can be picture, video or IP streaming.

YouTube Support 

This feature allows playing a YouTube play list or selected video.

Restful API Support

A set of APIs using standardized HTTPS requests to access and operate the device so that the NovoDS can be seamlessly integrated into existing AV systems or IT infrastructure, which is highly desired by many system integrators or end users.
